(Slides attached) [Stack Track 1:30-1:50] Control Your Network ASICs, What Benefits switchdev Can Bring Us - Chiu Hung Wei邱宏瑋 (ThunderToken霹靂幣有限公司)
In this session, I will introduce what is switchdev and what problem it wants to solve. To this day, most of the hardware switch's  application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC)  only be controlled by the vendor's proprietary binary (SDK) and it's inconvenient for system administrator/developer. In order to break the chip vendor's lock-in situation, the switchdev had been designed to solve this. With the help of switchdev, we can develop a general solution for hardware switch chips and break the connection with vendor's binary-blob (SDK).
In order words. Linux kernel can directly communicate with the vendor's proprietary ASIC now, and the software programmer/system administrator can easily control that ASIC to provide more flexible, powerful and programmable network function.

(Slides Attached) [Stack Track 1:50-2:10] Open Source Mobile Network Slicing Platform - Wei-Cheng Wang王韋程(ITRI工研院)
This talk introduces an open source M-CORD platform with open source OAI EPC and network slicing functionality powered by P4 switches. As an effort to support network slicing, we decomposed OAI EPC, which is a monolithic EPC, into modularized components, such as MME, HSS, and SPGW. We further adhere the principle of Control and User Planes Separation (CUPS) to split the SPGW into SPGW-c and SPGW-u. We also modified the native EPC service provided by M-CORD to support creations of service chains of vHSS, vMME, vSPGW-u, and vSPGW-c. Furthermore, we implemented an ONOS application cooperating with a customized P4 program BM.p4, extended from Fabric.p4 called P4-Enabled Bandwidth Management, to support network slicing and bandwidth management in OAI M-CORD. The northbound API provided by P4-Enabled Bandwidth Management application allows the administrator (or management program) to specify the mapping between flows and slices as well as possible bandwidth limitation and guarantee for a flow or slice. For the DEMO, we have used USRP SDR and OAI eNB as the access of OAI M-CORD together with commercial cell phones to demonstrate the functionality of network slicing of OAI M-CORD.

(Slides Attached) [Stack Track 3:00-3:20] The Ecosystem about Open Source vOLT - Chun-Ming Ou歐俊明(鈺登科技Edgecore Networks)
Up to today the concept of software-defined networking (SDN) is still happening in each networking area. To speed up the efficiency of legacy central office, most of the operators are trying to decouple networking control, forwarding function and network function. In this talk, we will introduce the ecosystem about vOLT and the current open source projects about OLT.

(Slides Attached) [Stack Track 3:20-3:40] Implementation of a Transnational Testbed with Layer 3 SDX –Te-Lung Liu 劉德隆(NCHC 國網中心)
This talk presents the current works on Software-Defined eXchange (SDX) over TWAREN networks. TWAREN SDN backbone serves as the Layer 2 SDX and interconnects with international partners through AutoGOLE using NSI (Network Service Interface). NSI is adopted for east-west communications so that the inter-domain circuit provisioning could cross through SDN and legacy Layer 2 networks. For Layer 3 SDX, SDN-IP is used for exchanging routes among network domains. We designed an architecture that separates SDN-IP and Internet routes and interconnected with US, Japan and other Asia countries.
